My Child - Bea Angela

Let's shout to the world! She is Bea Angela (such a lovely name she has), she is my child, my sponsor child through World Vision Malaysia (https://www.worldvision.com.my/)! I'm blessed that having the opportunity to join World Vision Malaysia for the study trip to Moises Padilla, Philippines so that I have the chance to witness the seeds of other world changers being nurtured and protected under the big umbrella, and they growth into big tree. I'm blessed that taking this step out to help even though I'm not a millionaire. Of cause, you don't need to be an millionaire to become a world changer. It is not about BIG, but SINCERITY, I'm so exciting that one of the item in MY LIFE BUCKET LIST has marked with a BIG tick on it! YES!

Along the trip in Moises Padilla, we've been visiting underprivileged and undernourished child from day-to-day, and it's last for one week. We also seen young and happy child daily, they are so energetic. Such a huge different between them. I dare not to imagine how worst it is if World Vision did not step in and helped out. There is no united from the community, everybody were busy for their own household, and worry about their own problem. There is no public facilities that is convenient to the community, such as clinic, library, store, transportation and etc. The family income was the biggest challenge for them. Parent can not effort to fall sick, not even half day. Such a poor situation that happened over there, and I've witnessed it by my own eyes.

There is a strong voice keep telling me, help them, give them stability, food, education, safety, health, and love. It is hard for me to describe how desperate they are in the needs of living to keep them alive. THE BASIC NEEDS. The community know they gonna do something for the change, the self-ish-est government surely to be blamed and curse badly. But there must be a short term goal, which must be productive enough, to get them out from the poor, urgently. But, without me appear physically there, how can I lend my helpful hand to them? I've knowledge in me, I can teach; I can cook; I can...
But they are just too far from me right now. BUT I can trust someone there and seek for their help.

It's comes to the reason that I put on the trust to World Vision Malaysia and sponsor a child. They are the local World Vision staffs in Philippines, who are friendly, truth-worthy, lovely and hardworking. I've visited their office, and witnessed their work, and the interaction with the local leaders and children to build a strong and warmth community. I see how RM65 /month turned into the development and transformation of a life, a child's life, as well as his/her parent, family, friends, and the community.

I'm looking forward my child to grow happily like every children do. I wish nothing but the best childhood that she deserved. Rest assure her life grow greatly like me, perhaps.
